Imaging software developer Median Technologies has appointed a new medical director for Europe.
Dr. Yan Liu, PhD, will manage the company's European medical affairs, including its clinical trial and business development activities.
Liu has previously served as head of translational research, radiotherapy, and imaging at the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), as well as a member of the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) core working group, Median said. She earned her medical degree at the Shanghai Jiaotong University College of Medicine in China, and her PhD in medical science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium.
