German mobile image display developer Plum Medical Solutions will be introducing the second version of its Med-Tab portable medical imaging workstation at next week's Medica 2017 show in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Suitable for use in radiology and medical image analysis, the 13.3-inch touchscreen display features DICOM grayscale and color operation via one-button touch; DICOM hardware calibration; automatic portrait and landscape orientations; and an ambient light sensor and conditions indicator, according to the vendor. It also includes an integrated precision measurement pen as well as a dual-purpose carry case and nonslip display stand.
Using its Port-Ray software, Medi-Tab v.2 can serve as an integrated part of PACS software or work with nearly all zero-footprint universal viewers from leading PACS companies, according to Plum, a daughter company of PACS vendor Image Information Systems.
