Fujifilm Medical Systems has upgraded two rooms at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE) to digital radiography (DR).
The Fujifilm Visionary suite features enhanced positioning and guidance buttons and an ergonomic table with access foot pedals and manual control for improved patient maneuvering and positioning.
Fujifilm's three D-Evo II detectors in the suite are designed to be lightweight, antibacterial, and waterproof for use in the tertiary trauma center. In addition, the Virtual Grid feature is intended to reduce patient dose with no loss of image quality.
