Significant increases in clinical trial contracts led to a more than doubling of revenues for imaging software developer Median Technologies in 2015.
For the year (end-31 December), the company had revenue of 3.9 million euros, up from 1.5 million euros in 2014. However, profitability was affected by the recruitment of new sales, marketing, and operational staff in Europe and the U.S. in order to accommodate the growth in business, according to Median.
Consequently, Median had a net loss of 5.5 million euros for the year, compared with a net loss of 4.5 million euros in 2014. The company said the loss was consistent with its strategic roadmap.
