Agfa HealthCare has won a contract to install a ceiling-suspended DR 600 digital radiography (DR) room at Yeovil District Hospital in the U.K.
The 345-bed hospital is replacing an existing unit with Agfa's ceiling-suspended device. DR 600 offers a choice of fixed, tethered, or wireless digital detectors with either cesium iodide (CsI) or gadolinium oxysulfide technology, and features full automation, positioning, and tracking tools.
Yeovil District Hospital serves South Somerset, North and West Dorset, and parts of Mendip, the company said.
