Agfa HealthCare has acquired TIP Group, an Austrian software developer that provides business intelligence and enterprise resource planning applications for hospitals.
The addition of the Graz-based company is designed to expand Agfa's portfolio in the healthcare IT market. The companies plan to begin collaborating immediately on mutual product development.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
