Fujifilm Medical Systems has placed its FDR Amulet Innovality digital mammography system at a U.K. treatment center.
Linford Wood Medical Centre in Milton Keynes provides patients with diagnostic imaging, advanced radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. It was opened in November 2013 by Cancer Partners U.K.
Amulet incorporates tomosynthesis, 3D mammography, and biopsy support in a single full-field digital mammography system. This is the first unit to be installed in a private facility in the U.K., Fujifilm said.
