High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) developer SonaCare said that it has delivered a Sonablate 500 system to the University College of London Hospital.
SonaCare said it has also sold four other Sonablate 500 devices outside of the U.S. in 2014, including two in Mexico, one in Switzerland, and one in Moscow. The firm sold six thermal ablation devices outside of the U.S. in 2013.
