French ultrasound technology developer SuperSonic Imagine has signed a three-year agreement with group purchasing organization (GPO) Resource Optimization and Innovation.
Under the deal, SuperSonic Imagine's Aixplorer ultrasound scanner will be available to more than 1,500 members and affiliates in Resource Optimization and Innovation's network in the U.S.
Aixplorer features ShearWave elastography and is designed for imaging the breasts, liver, thyroid, prostate, and other organs, according to the company. It enables the display of real-time, quantitative tissue elasticity on a color-coded bidimensional map.
