Siemens Healthcare has won a contract to install 10 new ultrasound scanners at a U.K. health provider, the company said.
InHealth Group provides diagnostic imaging for the National Health Service (NHS) and private patients throughout the U.K. and Ireland. The new Acuson X300 and P300 units will allow patients needing nonobstetric ultrasound to be seen and treated faster, according to the firm.
Siemens' Acuson X300 features an adjustable 15-inch flat-panel display and large on-screen fonts that reduce sonographer eye strain, while the company's Acuson P300 ultrasound system offers 13 multifrequency transducers for clinical versatility, the company said.
