Dutch hospital Maasstad Ziekenhuis of Rotterdam has received an electronic medical record (EMR) award, according to PACS firm Visus.
The EMR Adoption Model Stage 6 Award was bestowed at the World of Health IT Conference and Exhibition in Nice on 2 April. The facility won the award because its electronic patient records more than satisfy the requirements imposed by HIMSS Analytics Europe (HAE).
Maasstad Ziekenhuis works closely with ChipSoft, supplier of the Ezis hospital information system, and Alphatron Medical, supplier of Visus's JiveX image processing system.
