Healthcare information systems firm McKesson has been awarded a contract by the Irish Health Service Executive. McKesson's PACS and RIS packages will be installed at the first four of 35 hospitals in the network.
The hospitals are Beaumont Hospital, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Sligo General Hospital, and Waterford Regional Hospital. The agreement is part of the Irish Health Services Executive's National Integrated Medical Imaging System initiative, according to McKesson.
