DeepHealth is partnering with HOPPR, the company behind the first AI foundational model for medical imaging, to commercialize a medical-grade generalized foundational model.
The company said that the industry will be able to use this model, which builds on DeepHealth's clinical expertise and data sets, with the goal of making way for future advancements in radiology.
The partnership will also promote the development of fine-tuned models for breast, prostate, and lung cancer detection, which will add to DeepHealth's AI-powered health informatics portfolio. Third parties can create their own fine-tuned models based on the generalized model.
The foundational model is intended to improve diagnostic accuracy and allow for generative AI in nonclinical applications, including workflow automation.
