Paris-based AI software developer Gleamer, winner of the 2023 EuroMinnie award for Best New Radiology Vendor, has raised $29.5 million (27 million euros) in a Series B funding round.
This latest investment will enable the company to expand its portfolio of solutions, strengthen its European and U.S. teams, and accelerate its international development plans, Gleamer said. To date, Gleamer has raised $39.4 million (35.5 million euros), which includes a Series A funding round of $8.2 million (7.5 million euros) in 2020 and seed funding of $1.6 million (1.5 million euros) in 2018, the company said.
Gleamer's AI x-ray clinical diagnostic products now serving more than 6,500 users in 650 institutions in 24 countries, with its products processing more than a million medical examinations each month, the company noted.
