Cerebriu, a Danish radiology artificial intelligence (AI) company, recently received the Eurostars research grant of 6 million Danish kroner (806,000 euros) in partnership with Oslo University Hospital and Denmark's Copenhagen University Hospital.
The grant will fund the partnership's development of software using Cerebriu's technology to automatically identify patients eligible for critical thrombolysis and thrombectomy. This identification will be based on imaging rather than the time of symptom onset.
Cerebriu said this method aims for more accurate estimates of the tissue for better prediction of treatment outcomes.
