Enterprise imaging and digital pathology vendor Sectra has secured a deal with Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust for the health network to test the company's Sectra Amplifier Service.
The service is an artificial intelligence (AI) platform that helps clinicians identify lung cancer on chest x-rays; it was designed to make it easier for hospitals to use their PACS to test and implement AI for imaging.
Portsmouth plans to share its experience with Sectra Amplifier Service with partner hospitals, including Isle of Wight NHS Trust, Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
