Dutch artificial intelligence (AI) software developer ScreenPoint Medical is highlighting a study that suggests its Transpara AI breast care platform can reduce radiologist workload.
The study is being conducted at University Hospital Reina Sofia in Cordoba, Spain, and puts into practice findings from previous research that compared Transpara's performance with digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis. That previous study found that Transpara reduces radiologist workload by up to 70% while maintaining overall sensitivity when the software is used to read less suspicious mammograms, the company said.
