U.K. artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Behold.ai has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its red dot AI triage algorithm.
The software has been cleared for alerting radiologists to cases of pneumothorax found on x-rays, according to the vendor. Behold.ai said it plans to launch red dot commercially in the U.S. later this year. It will charge for the algorithm on a per-exam basis.
