U.K. start-up Kheiron Medical Technologies has received the CE Mark for its breast cancer screening machine-learning software.
The software offers users a second read for mammography images in a screening setting, the company said. Receipt of the CE Mark will allow the software to be used with the National Health Service and other European healthcare systems.
The company is in the process of applying for approval of the software through the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
