The commander of the Fram2 space mission has posted on social media what may be the first x-ray image taken in space.

In a post on the social media platform X on 1 April, Chun Wu wrote that on the second morning of the flight, the crew woke up, had breakfast, and “took a few x-ray images.”

The post has received over 14.9 million views at the time of writing. The image appears to be a nod to the first x-ray ever taken by Wilhelm Roentgen of his wife Anna Bertha Ludwig's hand on 22 December 1895.
