Patient communication will come under scrutiny at ECR 2025. Ahead of the congress, Prof. Dr. Christian Loewe elaborated on how radiologists can brush up on their communication skills. He also gave restaurant tips for his native city of Vienna and spoke about the importance of running as a way of avoiding burnout.
Loewe is head of the Division of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at the Medical University of Vienna. He also chairs the Guidelines Committee of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology, and is president-elect of the Austrian Rontgen Society. He is chair of the ESR's National Societies Committee, a member of the Steering Committee of the European School of Radiology, and chair of the Austrian Board Examination in Radiology.
