The European Society of Radiology (ESR) said in a statement that it deplores the Russian invasion of Ukraine and encourages members to join the organization in supporting Doctors Without Borders, which is mobilizing an emergency preparedness response for a variety of potential needs.
"We are writing to you with great sympathy for the plight of all Ukrainians. Individually and collectively on behalf of the ESR, members of the Board of Directors deplore the loss of life and destruction resulting from the invasion of Ukraine initiated by the Russian leadership," the organization said.
The ESR Board of Directors is supporting Doctors Without Borders and has set up the following account to collect donations on behalf of the radiological community:

Kindly indicate "Support for Ukraine" as the purpose of the transfer, the ESR asked.
