The Welsh government has announced that cancer screenings that were postponed due to COVID-19 will resume over the coming weeks.
Public Health Wales confirmed that groups of patients at high clinical priority who are overdue for nonroutine repeat cervical screenings will be invited back at the end of June. Then, it will reach out to those who have missed appointments.
After this, priority groups for breast and bowel screenings will be contacted. Those overdue for abdominal aortic aneurysm and diabetic eye screenings will be contacted later in the summer.
