Ultrasound probe testing technology developer BBS Medical said it's now supplying probe adapters for use with Verasonics' Vantage ultrasound research platform.
The specialized ultrasound probe/transducer adapters will enable Vantage users to connect a variety of different probes from other companies to the Vantage system, according to BBS Medical. The new adapters will initially accommodate ultrasound probes from Philips Healthcare; BBS and its ProbeHunter team plan to add support for probes from other major ultrasound firms in the future.
