Healthcare IT software developer MillenSys has delivered a large enterprise PACS/RIS project for a 17-site facility in Egypt.
It is considered the largest PACS project in Egypt due to the number of connected sites. Cairo Scan Radiology Centers now uses MillenSys' PACS/RIS to manage scheduling of patients; cross-scheduling between sites; workflow of patients at all sites; archiving; diagnosis from multiple devices and locations; medical reporting; billing for patients, radiologists, and referring physicians; material management; and mutlilevel inventory control, the company said.
