The European Society of Molecular and Functional Imaging in Radiology (ESMOFIR) plans to hold its first workshop in November.
The event will take place in the ESR Learning Centre in Barcelona on 1-2 November.
The course will focus on modern imaging techniques in contrast-enhanced body perfusion using ultrasound, CT, and MRI. Participants will learn about general principles of functional imaging (perfusion) and the use of contrast media.
In addition, attendees will be trained in the interpretation and analysis of perfusion cases using different perfusion analysis software and will have the opportunity to work on multiple clinical cases in a hands-on fashion on postprocessing systems.
The course is free of charge, but ESMOFIR is requesting a handling fee of 30 euros upon registration.
