Agfa HealthCare has been awarded a contract for computed radiography (CR) systems from the Ministry of Health in Kazakhstan.
Under the pact, Agfa will digitize mammography services in the nation's public hospitals with 63 CR 30-Xm systems and the company's DryStar Axys dry hardcopy imager.
Agfa has partnered with the Ministry of Health in Kazakhstan since 2007, when the firm received a telemedicine contract for 25 CR systems with networking capabilities.
The CR 30-Xm is not available in the U.S. and Canada.
