The EU's Working Time Directive, 2003/88/EC, has focused attention on work hours. It provides for the right to work no more than 48 hours a week, restricts excessive night work, and gives staff a minimum number of holidays a year with rest of at least 11 hours in any 24 hours.
But given the growing pressure in healthcare and tough economic climate, are imaging professionals complying with this directive? How do working hours vary across Europe? Do you work longer and do more on-call sessions than colleagues elsewhere? In which countries, types of hospitals, and vendors do staff members tend to work the longest hours?

This research came out of a discussion of the topic at the annual meeting of AuntMinnieEurope.com's editorial advisory board meeting during ECR 2013.
