Swedish digital radiography developer Imix of Stockholm and Swedish radiology systems and subsystems supplier Arcoma have signed a letter of intent to combine into a single holding company.
The merger will create a portfolio of complementary products and technologies, according to the firms. The new company, Imix Holding, will be based in Växjö, Sweden, and will have sales and services offices in the U.S., European Union, and China. Manufacturing and R&D activities will take place at facilities in Växjö, Sweden; Tampere, Finland; and Lucerne, Switzerland.
The Imix brand will remain for end-user system sales, while the Arcoma brand will continue for the manufacturing and sales of subsystems.
