Australian hospital takes Sectra mammo, IT products

The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia has digitized its mammography operations with technology from Sectra of Linköping, Sweden. The installation includes Sectra MicroDose mammography systems, as well as the company's PACS for managing and archiving breast images.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is a major teaching, tertiary healthcare facility managed by Melbourne Health. The hospital's breast service provides diagnosis and management of breast disease for inpatients and outpatients.
