Dutch imaging vendor Pie Medical Imaging will be introducing its CAAS QCA 3D package as part of the next generation of its CAAS software.
CAAS QCA 3D adds 3D visualization capabilities to CAAS, and also improves the results of quantitative analysis of the coronary arteries by eliminating foreshortening and out-of-plane magnification, according to the Maastricht, Netherlands-based firm. Key features include: automatic calibration, real-time and interactive 3D reconstruction of vessels including bifurcation, and fusion of 2D and 3D analysis results, Pie said.
CAAS QCA 3D will be part of version 5.0 of CAS, which features a new and modular architecture, according to the firm. Pie has also incorporated a floating license program, multilanguage support, and enhanced functionalities for left-ventricular analysis and small-vessel analysis.
Pie will showcase the new offerings at this month's Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) meeting in Washington, DC.
