Sectra installs mammo units in Norway

Swedish PACS and digital mammography developer Sectra has installed three Sectra MicroDose Mammography full-field digital mammography units at a Norwegian imaging services provider.

The systems were installed at sites operated by Curato, the Nordic region's largest provider of radiology examinations, according to the Linköping-based firm.

Curato and Sectra signed a multiyear RIS/PACS agreement in late August, and the two are in the process of developing a comprehensive solution for image management in mammography screening, Sectra said. The three new mammography systems are intended to support that goal.
