What's the impact of photon-counting CT (PCCT) on clinical workflow and post-processing? How is the technology used in postmortem imaging? Will PCCT eventually replace conventional systems? For answers, we caught up with Prof. Anders Persson, PhD, in a video interview on the opening day of ECR 2025.

Persson is director of the Center for Medical Image Science and Visualization (CMIV) at Linköping University/University Hospital in Sweden. He is also a board director of Sectra.
