The British Society of Thoracic Imaging has set up a cloud teaching library for COVID-19 images in collaboration with British software manufacturer Cimar and software company Ambra Health.
The free-to-view cloud-based library allows radiologists from across the globe to upload COVID-19 cases into the database, with patient information automatically deidentified. The database promotes global training and research collaboration and has already helped reveal that some COVID-19 patients present with acute abdominal pain instead of respiratory symptoms, Ambra said.
