The German Roentgen Society (DRG) recently interviewed Prof. Dr. Heinz-Jacob Langen about a novel case collection containing 13 cases.
Langen, who was formerly the medical director and head of radiology at the Missionary Medical Clinic (academic teaching hospital of the University of Würzburg), compiled the cases as a source of continuing education for radiologists. He said the cases are ideal for radiologists-in-training and experienced radiologists.
"Before my retirement, it was important to me to share the knowledge and experience from my professional life in a concise and vivid way," he said in the DRG interview. "This collection contains 13 cases that have particularly stuck in my mind during my career -- whether because of their diagnostic challenges, their clinical relevance, or simply because they are not something encountered every day."
