Affidea Group has acquired Synlab Lithuania to add advanced laboratory analysis, testing, and specialty consultation to its outpatient imaging healthcare services.
Synlab Lithuania operates one central and one regional laboratory as well as nine blood collection points across Lithuania, serving approximately 94,000 patients annually, Affidea noted. The laboratories are located in Vilnius, KlaipÄ—da, Kaunas, Å iauliai, and Druskininkai, where Affidea already has an established presence.
Affidea operates 17 healthcare centers in Lithuania and works with up to 1,300 professionals, 600 of whom are doctors, serving over 600,000 patients annually.
Together, the two companies expand Affidea's community-based polyclinics into integrated healthcare services in Lithuania, Affidea said.
