AIRS Medical has received EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) CE certification for its AI-powered MRI tool, SwiftMR.
This certification allows the company to sell SwiftMR across the EU, Turkey, the EEA (Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway), Great Britain, and Switzerland.
SwiftMR improves MRI image quality through deep learning technology and can reduce MRI scan times by up to 50%, the company said. It added that implementing this into the clinic does not call for additional scanner purchases or existing MRI upgrades.
AIRS Medical will showcase its technology portfolio through an AI theater presentation at the 2024 European Congress of Radiology (ECR).
