Guerbet has received the CE Mark for its DUOnco Bone AI software, designed to assist bone lesion detection on CT scans.
As part of the company’s Intrasense range, DUOnco Bone was developed for the early detection of bone lesions on thoraco-abdomino-pelvic (TAP) scans.
DUOnco Bone automatically analyzes TAP scanner images using deep-learning algorithms to identify suspicious anomalies and bone lesions and provide their 3D coordinates to clinicians, the vendor noted.
While it was designed to integrate with Intrasense's oncology imaging platform Liflow, it is also compatible with other systems, Guerbet pointed out in a statement.
The company said that it plans to extend the line’s offerings soon, including for pancreatic imaging.
