Over 2,200 delegates have registered onsite for the 36th edition of the national congress of the Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM), which is taking place in Malaga from 25 to 28 May. We bring you some images from the conference.

"COVID-19 has forced us to change many customs and because of it we have learned new ways of sharing knowledge, many of which are here to stay," she noted in her welcome to attendees. "But this is not going to stop us from looking forward to what will be the first postpandemic SERAM congress."

The latest virtual reality (VR) advances are on display at SERAM 2022.Alberto Cabrera Zubizarreta, president of the SERAM Scientific Committee, echoed these sentiments.
"After two years of professional sacrifice, and in many cases also family sacrifice, for all of us who are part of the radiological family, the epidemiological situation gradually returns to normal after the introduction of vaccination," he commented.
The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) participated in the precongress course held on 24 May. It focused on incidental findings in radiology.
According to Martí de Gracia, "Malaga, capital of the Costa del Sol, was chosen after a rigorous selection process because it fully met all the requirements for our congress in terms of venue, hotel capacity, communication, and connections. And also, of course, for its location on the shores of the Mediterranean and its wonderful climate.
Interactive e-poster sessions have generated considerable interest in Malaga."In addition, it will undoubtedly offer us the opportunity to enjoy its rich cultural and architectural heritage," she continued.
The congress was organized jointly with the Inter-American College of Radiology (CIR). Other participants were the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and the French Society of Radiology (SFR).
