
Siemens Healthineers has added a new manufacturing facility to its R&D center in Bengaluru, India, according to a September 19 report in the Business Standard.
The company plans to manufacture its mobile Cios Fit C-arm in its new 5,000-sq-ft (465-sq-m) facility. The Cios Fit was developed at the Bengaluru R&D facility and is designed for orthopedic trauma, spine, pain management, gastrointestinal, and urology surgeries.
Siemens also will assemble CT scanners for its Somatom go platform in Bengaluru.
