DUBAI - The president of ECR 2014, Dr. Valentin Sinitsyn from Moscow, is actively participating as a speaker and ambassador for European radiology during this week's Arab Health congress in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
ECR Preident Dr. Valentin Sinitsyn with his wife Maria.Along with his wife, Maria, who is an assistant professor of internal medicine, he is at the show to promote the Vienna congress, which runs from 6 to 10 March. On Thursday, Sinitsyn will take part in a special session called Arab Health meets the European Society of Radiology (ESR). ESR president Dr. Guy Frija and Dr. Francesco Sardanelli, president of the European Society of Breast Imaging, will also be speaking.
"ECR attendance from the Middle East countries is increasing fast, and the region is very important to us," Sinitsyn said, who is also an editorial adviser to AuntMinnieEurope.com. "We really want to increase cooperation and work more closely with radiologists from the Arab world."
He's been keeping busy during January, having also attended the national Mexican congress of radiology, held last week in Mexico City, as well as organizational meetings at the ESR offices in Vienna.
