Agfa HealthCare has installed its Hydmedia enterprise content management archive at the University Hospital of Cologne in Germany; the Children's Hospital Auf der Bult in Hannover, Germany; and the University Hospital of Basel in Switzerland.
Among the features of Version G5 of Hydmedia is the ability to archive paper records and serve as a backup for a hospital information system (HIS). From a clinical workplace, healthcare providers can access information anytime.
