GE Healthcare announced that it has signed a manufacturing agreement with Advanced Accelerator Applications to establish a pan-European PET tracer production facility.
The new partnership will provide additional capability of proprietary PET tracer production to a cumulative total of 20 sites and initial coverage in 11 countries.
Currently, 15 tracers are in various stages of development in GE's PET portfolio. The agreement with Advanced Accelerator Applications is the company's first step in establishing a PET tracer production network throughout Europe over the next few years.
