Prof. Erika Denton is the national advisor for imaging at National Health Service (NHS) Improvement and medical director and honorary professor of radiology at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals. In a video interview recorded at the UK Imaging & Oncology Congress (UKIO), she insists that her team is making progress and new national standards are on the horizon. Despite the challenges posed by Brexit and the loss of many practitioners older than 55 from the radiology workforce, she remains optimistic that the picture in England is gradually getting better.
