Carestream Health plans to debut a new mobile digital x-ray system at the upcoming RSNA 2017 meeting.
DRX-Revolution Nano is a mobile x-ray unit that features carbon nanotube technology, which reduces its size and weight compared to existing mobile x-ray systems, the company said. Weighing 200 lb, it also includes a lithium iron phosphate battery and support for all of Carestream's DRX detectors, the company said.
Carestream expects to release DRX-Revolution Nano in 2018.
