ESR reveals 12% rise in abstracts for ECR 2025

The ESR is highlighting that ECR 2025 has received 8,562 abstracts during its initial submission phase, a 12% increase from the previous year'.

The abstracts have been submitted from 111 countries, 10 more than last year, featuring expertise from radiologists, radiographers, medical physicists, and professionals from other intersecting medical fields. The highest number of submissions came from China, Italy, India, Spain, and Germany. The ESR also noted a 55% increase in abstract submissions from the U.K.

Additionally, the ECR's Support Programmes received 3,459 abstracts for Invest in the Youth, an increase of 8%, and 435 abstracts received for Shape Your Skills, a sharp increase of 83%.

For those who missed the initial abstract phase, a late-breaking submission window will be available from 18 December 2024 to 13 January 2025.
