ICSCNM updates molecular radiotherapy guidance

The Intercollegiate Standing Committee on Nuclear Medicine (ICSCNM) has released the second edition of its guidance for clinicians on molecular radiotherapy.

"This revised guidance (originally published in 2014 and updated to take account of recent changes and developments) provides a helpful framework for and sets out the roles and responsibilities of those who may be involved in molecular radiotherapy," said Professor Andrew Scarsbrook, ICSCNM chairman, in the foreword. "It covers the licensing and organizational aspects of handling radioactive isotopes, as well as issues that are related to clinical practice, delegation, and team working."

It can be downloaded for free on the U.K. Royal College of Radiologists website.
