Diagnostic imaging, outpatient, and cancer care services provider Affidea Group is expanding in Portugal with its acquisition of Imagens Médicas Integradas (IMI).
IMI adds more diagnostic imaging capabilities to Affidea and an entry into teleradiology services in Portugal, bringing to 21 the number of Affidea facilities in the country. The provider will perform more than 1.4 million examinations per year throughout the country.
Affidea also now has 245 care and imaging centers in Europe, with over 7,500 professionals performing almost 13 million exams for more than 6.5 million patients every year.
