Thirona spins off retina division

Dutch artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Thirona has spun off its retina division into a new company, Thirona Retina.

Thirona Retina will concentrate on the eye diseases market and operate as a standalone entity. Meanwhile, Thirona will continue to focus on lung diseases for its AI software, according to the vendor.
