Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Aidoc has signed a contract with 4ways Healthcare of the U.K. to provide that firm with radiology reporting services.
Under terms of the deal, Aidoc will provide 4ways Healthcare with its Always-on software, which highlights abnormalities on imaging and thus streamlines patient treatment, the company said. The software reduces turnaround time by 36.6%, inpatient length-of-stay by 2.8 days, and emergency department length-of-stay by 10.4%, according to Aidoc.
4ways Healthcare employs more than 250 U.K. consulting radiologists who offer routine and urgent radiology reporting to 70 National Health Service (NHS) trusts as well as to private healthcare organizations, it said.
